On Easter Monday the volunteer drivers for Popote Roulante, Meals on Wheels, in Cowansville, delivered hot meals but that was not all. Over 150 quilted placemats were also given out. They had been made by Ingeborg Fulford and a group of her friends.
The tag on each placemat read: “Made by Ingeborg Fulford and her friends – all with fairy fingers.” Marc Labrecque was the driver who delivered Ingeborg her meal on Monday and he showed her how the placemats were each tied up with a ribbon and the message
The project was over a year in the making and Ingeborg was happy to know that the placemats were finally finding homes!
