On Friday, the students in most schools brought their costumes. The day was sunny but cool. At Heroes’ Memorial students came out in their classes and gathered outside in the playground in their bubbles to show off their costumes first thing in the morning. Treats were given out during the day.
Most teachers also dressed up for the day. Ms. Wisdom was a bumblebee. Her costume helped to keep her warm while on recess duty.
The one stipulation that the students had to follow was to not bring any simulated weapons. Everyone abided the rules and it was a fun day had by all!
