Brome-Bolton Fish and Game Club to host a blood drive

BCN Staff

The need for blood donations does not decrease in the winter months. The Brome-Bolton Fish and Game Club is sponsoring a blood drive in Knowlton on Friday, Feb. 4.  The Blood Drive will be from 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lac Brome Community Centre located at 270 Knowlton Road.

The hope is for 50 volunteers to come in to make a donation. Hema-Quebec, both before and during the COVID crisis, has made sure to make the donation process highly safe. Appointments are required prior to coming to make a donation. A slot can be reserved by going to the website jedonne @hema-quebec.qc.ca or by calling 1-800-343-7264. Hema Quebec delivers nearly 750,000 biological products to Quebec hospitals every year to meet patient demands in the health sector. The need for blood is a constant one.

The Brome-Bolton Fish and Game Club has taken on promoting and supporting this worthy cause. It should be easy to meet, if not surpass, their goal of 50 donors.
